Wailing stoner-rock band Twin Void released their full-length debut album Electric Drone Wasp 5th June, 2020. Download it on Bandcamp.

How would you describe your music?

We would describe our music as energetic, full of attitude and very personal.

Tell us about the history of the project?

Me and Wyatt have played in other bands in the area but we decided to form something different, and we’ve been a band since 2019.

What are your influences/ musical heroes?

The big ones for us would probably be Tony Iommi, Bad Brains, Waylon Jennings, and Clutch.

What inspires you?

Life experiences and life events, because I think it’s great when bands connect with their fans not just with the music but with lyrics.

Do you write on the road? Or do you prefer to write in the studio?

Our writing process usually consists of me making demos then bringing it to Wyatt then we work out the songs.

What is your favourite song to perform live?

Right now our favourite song to play live is Speakin’ in Tongues, it’s got a perfect mixture of riffs and catchiness.

What would be your dream tour to be a part of?

Our perfect dream tour would have to be with Fu Manchu, Dwarves, and Clutch, and I don’t think it’s that much of a fantasy.

What are your current thoughts on the music industry?

I think the music industry right now is a panic and like most bands no one can tour or play shows. So I think live-streams and creative ideas will keep bands afloat.

What is the funniest/weirdest experience you have had on tour?

Probably with my last band, we were playing a few shows in Seattle and I remember lots of funny moments, specifically we played at this outdoor festival and pretty much everything went wrong but we still had a super fun time.

What are your future plans?

We already have our full length written and now we’re waiting to hit the studio again, and hit the road once everything gets back to normal.
