Let the Wolves Speak is a five-piece Metalcore band from Milwaukee, Wisonsin, USA.
How would you describe your music?
I would describe our music as melodic, aggressive, and intense.
Tell us about how the history of the project?
Well, the band started in 2015 with members Alex and Eric just getting together jamming. Then Alex started to seek out the others to build up the band to what our lineup is now through meeting at shows, and also having mutual friends.
What are your influences/ musical heroes?
Our influences constantly change because we listen to different music… from death metal, to like folk music, and to jazz. It’s just all over the place. Our musical heroes would for sure be Slipknot, Linkin Park, and Coheed and Cambria.
What inspires you?
Positive Vibes, art, music, friends and family and of course music!
Do you write on the road? Or do you prefer to write in the studio?
I’d say if an idea popped in our head guitar wise, we’d quickly capture and record it but we’d prefer to write in the studio.
What is your favourite song to perform live?
I’d have to say our song Soul Purpose.
What would be your dream tour to be a part of?
I’d say Slipknot, Coheed and Cambria, The Devil Wears Prada, and August Burns Red.
What are you current thoughts on the music industry?
Well I think the music industry is always figuring out what strives for music in the current times, and adapts to keeping it going.
What is the funniest/weirdest experience you have had on tour?
Well one time the band stopped in a Mexican restaurant in Missouri, and we all had burritos then we headed back to a place we temporarily were staying. Sure enough Alex had to use the bathroom. You already know where this is going… *laughs*…so he comes out of the bathroom after 15 minutes, and someone else had to use the bathroom after. As soon as Alex opens the door and leaves the other person comes through, opens the door and could just not handle the smell.
What are your future plans?
We just put out a music video and released a single called Soul purpose so we aim to push that out to listeners, and get our EP out very soon!
