How would you describe your music?

If NIN, Depeche Mode, Pantera, Janes addiction, My Chemical Romance and Frankenstein had a baby…

Tell us about how the history of the project?

Daniel Neet started the project as “Clay People” a 2 man industrial project, but quickly added Dan Dinsmore and Brian McGarvey along with Mike Gizzardi for an intense sonic assault of metal industrial and rock.

What are you influences/ musical heroes?

sooooo many… a cpl from each member would be Josh Freese, John Bonham, Dimebag Darrel, Perry Farrell, David Bowie, Lemmy, Bon Scott, Les Claypool, Trent Reznor, Eddie Van Halen, Josh Homme, Ogre

What inspires you?

Integrity, Honesty, Hard work, a green room with a shower lol

Do you write on the road? or do you prefer to write in the studio?

we do write on the road, but the road tends to get chaotic, so we prefer to write in our rehearsal space and studio – we all write parts on our own time and converge as well.

What is your favourite song to perform live?

Again so many! New TCP – Collossus / Retro TCP – My Xploding head

What would be your dream tour to be a part of?

Personally if I could wave a magic wand it would be Pantera, Deftones, Type O Negative and The Clay People

What are you current thoughts on the music industry?

Not in love with the music industry right now – The rock genre has been pushed aside for the next pop flavor of the week etc. BUT I believe that’s partly the rock genres fault – there is no umph coming out – Rock n roll was made to scare your parents with attitude and unpredictability – we are here to bring some of that back!

What is the funniest/weirdest experience you have had on tour?

One of my first tours was opening for Korn on their first tour for their debut release. We were in Boston and we all hopped on their bus and took off looking for booze and beef jerkey – we got stuck on a one way st. but we got all the jerkey lol

What are your future plans?

We plan to hit the road and play all the major and smaller markets – this band needs to be seen live.
