Tell us about the history of the band?
ND: Me and Nicklas (guitar) have played together for 15 years in different bands and knew Markus from a couple of years back, playing in other bands. Eventually, we started jamming and after a few sessions the three of us realized that we loved playing together, started writing songs and put more and more time on the band.
How would you describe your music?
ND: we are influenced by the late 60’s and 70’s rock, soul and blues music but with our own distinctive sound and flavour.
What are your influences/ musical heroes?
ND: Zeppelin, Aretha Franklin, Rory Gallagher, Deep Purple, Hendrix, Cream, Free – to name a few.
What record are you currently listening to?
ND: Bill Withers ‘Still Bill’, so groovy!
What is your favourite song to perform live?
ND: A tune of ours called Right on time, it’s an older one and hopefully it will be on the upcoming album.
What would be your dream tour to be a part of?
ND: It would be to play with Rival Sons, fantastic musicians and seem to be really nice human beings!
What is the funniest/weirdest experience you have had on tour or playing live?
ND: We have only played five or six gigs together so the stories aren’t that juicy.
What are your current thoughts on the music industry?
ND: Well, I’ve heard a lot of nightmare stories of band’s and artists getting ripped off or got their music stolen and that’s pretty messed up! You have to try to spot those kinds of people and stay clear of them.
What advice would you give to someone starting their own band?
ND: To trust your own musicality, don’t try to be like everyone else and nurture your style and sound!
What are your future plans?
ND: We’re currently writing songs for our full-length album and will start recording it at the beginning of next year. Hopefully, we’ll do a bunch of gigs in 2019! And of course to just play together.
