Angie is the co-leader and singer/guitarist from the duo ‘Under The Skin’ and a Francilienne artist. Beginning in 2018, she is frontwoman for her rock band ‘October Rain‘ and she is active as a solo artist. After many years in different bands and rubbing shoulders with artists such as the Gathering, Shakaponk or Fatals Picardy, Angie is moving forward with new projects, bolstering the courage to embark on new adventures exploring unknown paths
Motivated by the desire to break from the comfort of sharing writing and in search of new horizons, she is reaching into the depths of drawers and into the corners of her mind for songs of the past and emerging with new songs. She is encouraged by her friend, Tarah G Carpenter (Tarah Who?), who participates, hitting the drums for the project.

What are you influences/ musical heroes?
I don’t really have heroes, but as I spend like 6 hours a day listening to music I would say that have a lot of influences, like Radiohead, Foo Fighters, Queens of the Stones ages, Florence and the Machine… Music, in general, inspires me.
What inspires you?
As I said before, music… but also, playing. I didn’t know before I worked on this project that I had so many things to say. the more I create, the more I have ideas. It boosts my creativity, and it’s awesome. ?

I write anywhere. Last night I have been waked up by an idea. I grabbed my phone and recorded a melody… and fell asleep again, the next day I’ve worked on it and 2 days later a new song was born.
What is your favourite song to perform live?
The one which is not written yet
What would be your dream tour to be a part of?
I’d love to be invited by a really huge band, like the Foo Fighters, just to see how it is to be able to make a tour without any technical issues and a big catering… with an open bar!
What are you current thoughts on the music industry?
It’s probably one of the worst industry in the world… if musicians were not that passionate we would be surrounded by IA making music!!

A bra rain at a gig a few years ago… this day I have thought that my career was at his climax!
