How would you describe your music?

As The Frost, we consider ourselves multi-genred even though we seem to be writing a lot of country lately. That
is what we are feeling at this moment in time.

Tell us about how the history of the band?

We are a duo that started in Dunmore PA as a “cocktail duo.” We we’re playing mostly dinner music such as soft rock and jazz.” Eventually we started to expand and open up our repituare to everything.

What are you influences/ musical heroes?

Christian’s answer: George Benson and Steely Dan to name a few. The talent they share with the world is outstanding.

Leah’s answer:
Stevie Nicks and Lady Gaga. I think they both are outstanding songwriters and vocalists. Lady Gaga is also very diverse, which I like.

What inspires you?

I think we inspire each other. We work hard at what we do and we try to keep each other succeeding. Together and as our own artists as well.

Do you write on the road? or do you prefer to write in the studio?

Leah’s answer: I have to laugh at this one. I can’t write “in a studio” at all. Songs come to me at 2am or while I’m shopping or in the car. Sometimes I’ll pull over to write the song!  I’ve seen Christian go into the studio and just write something off the top of his head.

What is your favourite song to perform live?

There’s a couple favourites. Of our own, we really love to play our current release “Be Ok.” When we play covers we like to play Gerry Rafferty’s Baker Street and Gypsy by Fleetwood Mac.

What would be your dream tour to be a part of?

We would love to tour with Fleetwood Mac or The Band.

What are you current thoughts on the music industry?

That’s tough. It’s great in a way and depressing all in one. There’s a lot of ways to share your music today’s day in age, but if you don’t have a big label pushing an artist, it can be frustrating and discouraging trying to get your music to listeners.

What is the funniest/weirdest experience you have had on tour?

We always laugh and have good Times, but I can’t pinpoint a time anything “wierd” ever happened.

What are your future plans?

Well, for years we wrote and released music on our own and just played covers. Now we currently have a release called “Be Ok.” It is completely acoustic, but people seem to love it. On September 28, we have another single coming out that we are really excited for. It’s called Gotta Live Fast. If you like outlaw country, you’ll love this. We went full production on it. You can find us on Spotify, iTunes,Apple Music and YouTube right now and keep up to date with what is to come!
