How would you describe your music?

I would describe it as traditional heavy metal with high energy and lots of sing along choruses. we have influences from bands like AC/DC, Judas Priest, Kiss, W.A.S.P and Turbonegro and more so you get the idea

Tell us about how the history of the band?

SHOUT is a pretty recently started band and consists of Kriss Biggs (Bass, lead vocals), Rob Raw (lead guitar) Danny Diemond (lead guitar) and Ol´Hurricane (drums). We all started up in different bands, tho everyone knew each other from the very beginning. We come from the same area in Sweden, and our paths crossed on concerts, parties and much more.

We have all carried the torch of rock music, since we got the first taste of the rock’n’roll lifestyle in our early teen years we have been hooked for life. Me and Danny played with The Scams, hitting the road to make some rock’n’roll mayhem, all over Sweden and Europe for more than ten years – having a bit too much fun.

Ol’ Hurricane started out as a farmer boy. He learned to play the drums in a basement, and later moved to the city where he met Kriss, Danny and Rob.

Rob had been Rocking out playing guitar with his band Danger touring Sweden and Europe and had no plans slowing down when joining what was to become SHOUT

What are you influences/ musical heroes?

We have influences from everything from heavy metal to rock n roll to punkrock. It is bands like AC/DC, Judas Priest, W.A.S.P. KISS, Iron maiden, Motorhead, Turbonegro, Rose Tattoo, Ramones, Misfits, Danzig To mention a few heroes

What inspires you?

People that goes for the things they want in life, doesn’t matter if you wanna be a Plummer or an astronaut, you should do what makes you happy and makes you feel alive, why settle for anything less? I like rock n roll and a good party so thats what I go for. Cheers!

Do you write on the road? or do you prefer to write in the studio?

No never written on the road I think, but its something that I´d like start doing since its probably easier to get inspired when your out playing. But we usually write at home and do some changes and the finishing touches in the studio

What is your favourite song to perform live?

Well since SHOUT is a recently started band and our debut album hasn’t been released yet, we have just done one show so far, so I haven’t gotten much feel for a favorite song to perform live yet, perhaps Racing with the devil since its the fastest 😉 the release will be in September and will start playing more after that so we’ll have to get back to you after we have some more gigs under our belt 😉

What would be your dream tour to be a part of?

Ooh there are a lots of band we would like to tour with! But Judas Priest or Iron maiden would be cool before they call it quits.

What are you current thoughts on the music industry?

I think its good and getting better and better, its a new industry but if you are willing to learn new ways to go about it you will end up having more opportunities then ever before

What is the funniest/weirdest experience you have had on tour?

Well there is probably plenty weird stuff thats been happening over the years, there are always some tours that go bad from start to end, everything from the tourbus breaking down or band members been close to dying for getting guitar amps in the head from a 3 meter fall or people getting shot outside the venue.

What are your future plans?

Releasing our debut album first of all, and getting out on the road again! Many adventures awaits!
